We designed the interior for a tiny hair salon\u2014measuring less than 10 tsubo (approx. 33 sq. m)\u2014located a 10-to-15-minute walk from Higashi-Yamato Station. Given the limited area of \u200b\u200baround 9 tsubo, we needed to accommodate two styling stations and a shampoo station; consequently, we devised a layout that minimized the space allocated to the back-of-house and restroom areas at the rear of the salon, thereby maximizing the space available for the customer area. We also installed a partition wall to ensure privacy, preventing customers from being visible from the outside while receiving shampoo treatments. The color scheme centers on gray and black; by combining mortar-effect wall coverings with black leather styling and shampoo chairs, we created a space that is both simple and stylish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
